Students who have been approved for Fall 2025 program completion can expect to receive their diplomas in March 2026.
Fall 2025 diplomas will be ordered in mid-to late January, following the official conferring of degrees. Our diploma vendor requires 4-6 weeks to process, print, and verify diplomas before they are shipped to the diploma mailing address usage type you have designated in WorkDay. Once diploma orders are placed by the Office of the University Registrar, no changes can be made to the diploma mailing address.
Once your diploma ships, Info@cecredentialtrust.com sends United States Postal Service (USPS) tracking information to your WashU email address. If you foresee an issue with the diploma shipment, you are to contact USPS as soon as you receive the shipment notification from info@cecredentialtrust.com to make alternate arrangements. When you contact USPS, provide them your shipment tracking number for further assistance. Call: 1-800-ASK-USPS® (1-800-275-8777)
Deliveries to addresses in the US will be shipped between late February and early March (exact dates cannot be provided prior to receiving your USPS tracking number).
Deliveries to addresses outside of the US may arrive after March.
Please Note: The Office of the University Registrar and/or USPS are NOT responsible for packages damaged due to weather. Pay attention to weather conditions during your diploma delivery window.
Campus pickup and expedited delivery are not possible.
Graduates are issued a certified electronic diploma (CeDiD) which is an official, secure and verifiable PDF version of your accomplishment.
In March 2026, Info@cecredentialtrust.com will send a unique Authorization Link to your WashU email address with credential download instructions. This unique link is one-time use only and expires 30 days after the send date.
Next, register your account to maintain access to the electronic diploma permanently.

All Washington University diplomas are written fully in English. Diplomas are signed by the administration of Washington University and contain an embossed seal. It lists the student’s name, the official title of the degree, and the date of conferral.
Latin honors are awarded to undergraduates and School of Law JD graduates. This distinction is printed beneath the official title of the degree. The three Latin honors are Magna Cum Laude, Summa Cum Laude, and Cum Laude. The College of Arts & Sciences also awards Universali Cum Honore, which translates to College Honors.
An Official University Transcript will reflect all earned majors, minors, platforms, certificates, and awards.
If you need documentation before your degree posts to your academic record, contact your school’s Student Services Team to request a letter of degree or program completion.
You may also print an on-demand degree and enrollment verification. For more information visit Verification of Enrollment & Degrees – Office of the University Registrar
