Washington University in St. Louis students are required to apply for program completion in order to have their progress evaluated and approved for degree conferral, and participate in graduation events including Commencement exercises.
Spring 2025 graduates have a degree date of May 7, 2025.
Summer 2025 graduates have a degree date of August 14, 2025.

Students completing their degree requirements in Fall 2025 must Apply for Program Completion in Workday. The degree date for Fall 2025 is December 17, 2025.

After Applying for Program Completion
Students who have applied for program completion are considered candidates for degree. Records will be evaluated to verify whether all degree requirements have been met as listed in the relevant University Bulletin. If approved, the application will be recommended to the university registrar and the Board of Trustees. The Office of the University Registrar formally posts degrees upon approval by the Board of Trustees and after degree conferral.
